The issue of non-compliance with standards remains a big bottleneck for the competitiveness of Uganda’s MSMEs.
This course two-day course is specially designed to provide Micro, Small and Medium-sized enterprise (MSME) owners and managers in Uganda with a comprehensive understanding of quality standards, product classification, and certification processes established by the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS). The course delves into the details of complying with national and international quality requirements, ensuring that MSMEs' products meet the highest standards of safety and quality. Participants will gain practical insights into the benefits of certification, navigate the classification system, and learn how to initiate and successfully complete the certification process.
